About Thomas E. King
 Thomas E. King is a professional
travel writer and photojournalist, and is the Executive Editor / Bureau
Chief of Media East Pty Ltd, an international feature agency providing
editorial packages on travel destinations and leisure activities,
particularly golf to publications in Australia and Asia.
In 1998, he again won the Association of Southeast Asian Nations
Tourism Association's (ASEANTA) Award for Excellence in Tourism. He
is the first journalist in the world
to have twice received the prestigious ASEANTA award.
On World Tourism Day, September 27,
2001, he was awarded First Prize by the Nepal Tourism Board for his
destination feature on the culture of Kathmandu.
Thomas, the author of five
best-selling books, has previously won two gold commendations from the
Pacific Asia Travel Association for journalism excellence.
