emanila.com winning the first Technology Award in Australia's National Multicultural Marketing Awards 2000 is a source of joy to all members of the emanila team.

The Award also reinforces our belief that we, in the Philippine Community, have the competitive spirit to stand side by side with the best and prove our worth in the wider community.

We believe that the Award is also a demonstration of our capacity to inter-connect with the various communities in our respective adopted countries, and to project the image of the Filipino as a positive contributor to the enrichment of cultural diversity. Down Under, emanila.com has participated in the country's major events. We were a major participant in the launch of Online Australia in 1998 and a content provider to Guide to Australia. We have also helped promote events like Clean Up Day, Greening Australia, Australia Day, and recently, the Sydney Olympics.

Most importantly, we are happy that you have accepted us as your partners in helping create a global Philippine Community. From Down Under, emanila.com has been able to reach out our kababayans in North America, Europe, Africa and Middle East, South America, and in the Asia-Pacific region. Through emanila.com we are also able to continuously connect with our kababayans in the Philippines.
