Filipino proverbs (Mga Salawikain), a popular section among students

Filipino proverbs, popularly known as “mga salawikain,” is a very popular section in our Philippine Studies site. The section is the most visited in the site drawing substantial visits from students mainly from Australia, Philippines and US. Based on the comments and feedback left in the site, the readers of Filipino proverbs use them for their school assignment.

From time to time, we also receive negative comments from users asking why there is no “kahulugan” or meaning in the pages. The section will remain a work in progress and we expect our readers to communicate with us which particular proverb they need help with.
