The Filipino Australian now a members news site

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

IThe Filipino Australiann the tradition of emanila, The Filipino Australian now allows members and users to post their news stories and other materials after registration.

The new arrangement is also in line with emanila’s mission of making available its web facilities for members to exchange news and information about their local communities. Registered members can also access The Filipino Australian’s blogging section to post their views and opinions on any topic.

The Filipino Australian is emanila’s news site in Australia. It went online in June 2005 as a medium by which community organisations can connect with each other and with mainstream Australia.  Over the last two years, the news site had attracted writers who wrote about their views of Australia’s affairs.

Expected to join the news site are members of community clubs, special interest groups, businesses, professional groups, and government agencies.

We’ve just expanded The Filipino Australian

Tuesday, April 10th, 2007

For those who have not visited The Filipino Australian news site for sometime, you may be in for some surprises. We have increased the width size of the pages to give it more “white space” as well as to accommodate the increased sizes of advertising creatives.

The frontpage is also sporting a new look - with links to the other sections now directly accessible from the front page.

The re-development of our news site will be an ongoing process. Suggestions are welcome.
